BREAKING THE CHAINS OF FATE!
Long he stood bound but as he was thrown into a place he couldn't bear to see his life take he broke the chain of fate. Now he can flee. Mind you this is an entirely metaphorical chain. He still had to kind of twist about and get it off of him though. But he can guide his own destiny.
I like this one, it's very freeing.
ReplyDeleteI am a shy person, which is a horrible excuse for why I have never posted on your blog, which I love.
But I can't resist asking any longer, because your blog has me very excited. Are you by any chance a fan of Daniel Pinkwater?
Welcome aboard Jordie. I hope you stick around and comment on anything that strikes your fancy in the future.
ReplyDeleteAnd well, I did quite enjoy 'Lizard Music' and 'Fatmen from Space' as a youth. So I suppose I'm a fan of Mr. Pinkwater. What makes you ask, out of idle curiosity.
lol...so cute! I imagine the chains were actually quite time-consuming to contrive from MS Paint.
ReplyDeleteIt was an educated guess, based mostly on your love of chickens and the way you word your posts, in a very factual yet entertaining style that closely emulates Pinkwater's.
ReplyDeleteI'm nineteen now, but still go back and reread my childhood favorites. I grew up with Lizard Music, and Borgel was another favorite that I highly recommend. The Snarkout Boys series is another in which the Chicken Man shows up. :)
