2011: Happy New Year

Happy New Year everyone. As last year fades away let us look forward to the future with rose-tinted glasses. Blind hope is always for the best as far as I say. At least until you get too jaded.  I look forward to another good year with all of you as my site enters its third calendar year.

This year's resolution is... Hmm... Uh... I'm not that great at resolutions. I got one. I resolve to make this site more awesome.

Vacation

I thought I mentioned it earlier, but apparently not. I'm on a trip. Left on the 26th and won't actually be back until the 2nd or 3rd. You will definitely have a New Years post though.

I like Hawaiian shirt chicken by the way.

Chicken Santa

Chicken Santa stands in the foreground. Observe his slightly darkened colors meant to represent the fact that it's dark out, since it's night time. At any rate he's rather Santa-ish. In a generic Santa sort of way.

Meanwhile in the background shadows Chicken Santa's sleigh is driven away by Chicken Santa and his Flying Chickens. A wonderful Christmas.

Fancy

This is a fancy picture with a lot of little strokes instead of thick outlines. It makes it look more artistically legitimate, plus it gives a ragged powerful look.

... Well, I can't think of anything else to say. When I drew it I remember having a lot to say but then I had to leave before I posted...

Blind Grit

He has no eyes.
           He has no light
But he is strong.
And will see us through the darkness.

Chicken Change

Okay. I got two coins. And I got a Wallpaper made out of them. I imagine the background as being the treasure of the great chicken pirate, Wattle-Beard... Who I will be drawing later.

I preference the Gold coin over the Silver by a fair margin, but I think that's because I made it first so the second I was somewhat focused on making it, "Not the first one" Also I apologize, but to my surprise even the two coins side by side are too big to put up here full size either. I wasn't even planning on having the silver at first, but when I first started on the background it looked too monotonous so I added the silver to you know. Mix it up.

Skate-Free

No skating. It's right on the sign, but that's not what it says. It says no ice skates. And this chicken didn't see any problems with that at all. So the chicken started practice to become a championship figure skater. It was a dream and even if the chicken didn't have anywhere else to practice... this dangerous frozen lake was a chance.

This is my flawless comeback! It won't cut off again.

Still Shaken

Sorry for the heavy delay. I got sick again. It was pretty bad. Anyways I'm still a bit shaken up but I feel much better than I did.

Math Fall

Well, my Calculus III exam is tomorrow so I made a drawing of some math. The chickens fall through the math. The horror that comes as they fall through the horrible mess of mathematics. I like the near bald one on top of the Plus sign. (+) As for why no big old multiplication sign... the x is too much like the +, and the dot is too simple.

SMASH HAMMER!

This is a mighty chicken. He swings his hammer with endless force. No one would ever dare to challenge his devastating hammer if he faced off against them.

Fortunately he is kind and rules over his lands with a smile, mostly using his hammer on rail stakes.

Within Loops

Within the glowing green loops of cyberspace a chicken exists. The never-ending spin. The Chicken does not hide. He shows himself, and challenges you.

No waddle by the by.

TRAIN!!!

IT'S A TRAIN!!!

You people like trains, right? The conductor chills out hanging on the break because that's totally legit and safe.  Within the train is the endless purple of safety, while on the outside they flow forward safely in the world.

Sorry about the long break. I've been a bit busy.
