My latest project idea is PsiChi, Psychic Chicken. Now At first I just started with psychic Chicken, but then I was like, "No wait. Needs some random Greek letters." So I just took the ones that would fill in the beginnings of the two words. Then I scribbled them down and wrote the rest of the word and it became Ψchic Χken. Then I looked at it. I ignored the Greek letters and it still said chicken. So I had no choice but to accept that this was the right choice. (Also you could read it "ΨΧ chicken," though that would be dropping a "k" sound)

It'll be a while before anything really comes of it. Right now the idea's a series of short flash games, but we'll see what it ends up as. I just thought I should share. The chicken may receive a redesign, but I rather like him. Maybe he'll pick up some more accessories or the like.

400 Chickens (In Potential)

YES! We did it boys! This is my 400th post on this site. Gimme some high fives or something!

Okay, well, in one hundred and two hundred I messed with the idea that for the hundredth chicken I should have a hundred, and for the two-hundredth I should have 200. In both of those I didn't really do it. That was wimpy of me. But! for this one I have presented 400 chickens(in potential) in the form of a dress-up flash game. Well, I say dress up but it's actually a chicken maker game where you get to choose the wattle and beak and eyes, and what not.  And with all of that there are a total of 400 possible chickens.

I would have had more options but they add up way faster than I expected, and I did want it to have exactly 400 combinations.

You Gotta Get To The Other Side Released

 

My Flash game is now available for playing.  Here I'll toss out some of the concept art I have for it so this feels like a post on this blog and not some strange weird thing that isn't this site.

And now I reveal some easily guessed elements: It's sort of like Frogger. I made it in Flash. Everything was drawn in MS Paint. That booming voice is a synthesized voice put through a bunch of filters.

Kickin' Chicken

I haven't done an animated GIF or messed with Flash in a while so I made this fine animated chicken kicker. I like that chicken. He's more stylized and I notice I didn't give him a waddle, but he's still got a good look.

This one is inspired by kicking chickens in Fable. It was my favorite part of the games. I never really played them through but my friend had it and it was a grand way to have some fun.

Chicken Maker Video!!

Todays release is like a legitimately big deal. Not only was it not made in paint, I'm not even uploading it to this web site. We got a video! I made it in Flash and put it on the YouTube, though now that I look I probably should have just uploaded it here. Now I'm a bit annoyed because YouTube specifically told me that once it was uploaded there I would be able to post it right here without this block of code, but meh.
