In this piece I chose to create a contrast of blacks and grays to emphasize the form of the chicken. I used the dark gray on the bottom to cover for the lack of strong lines in the design. The top of the image is blue. That isn't a sort of gray at all. Also in spite of the title there isn't a single visible light in this picture.
People tell me that black isn't a color after I tell them it's my favorite color. But black's a color, right?
