This was scribbled up using the Windows 7 version of paint, which still needs to add the ability to not anti-alias my brush strokes. This lends it a unique embossed effect... In Blue

No. At best they glide. Only a handful of small insects actually fly. Also some birds, though that's really soaring. I'm not really sure what the differences is.
Anyways clearly this chicken can. But he's magical and blue. Possibly some sort of sky elemental.

Been busy with life, but I don't feel blue.
Also the ChickenMaker label is being replaced with a "General Chicken" label. I mean the ChickenMaker tag only made sense to me I assume, since I used it to refer to chickens that weren't challenges or projects.

A dramatic adventure unfolds. He might be a chicken, but he knows that he has to face his fears and enter the castle of despair to save the ones he loves.
In this piece I chose to work with dark tones to create a feel of despair and let the heroic resolve stand out. In addition I created a distinct background and foreground, using thick and defined outlines on the foreground and letting the background stand stylistically apart with its lack of borders. The swirls of dark violet in the back lend the air an air of mystery
