This terrifying monster lives on the same level as the cockatrice and the basilisk. That line between the snake and the chicken blurs into so many monsters.

Walk in the Light

To avoid the shadows of the past there are two choices. To walk in a light so bright that they can't be seen or to hide in the darkness. While he looks back in uncertainty no shadows of regret linger on the path behind him.

The shadows of the past are obviously symbolic of my not posting for a week.

Rage and Serenity

Consider this piece a draft. I made it and I like the design, but I feel like this would be better served by a slightly different approach. I'll get back to you all if I ever actually do that.

Also it's a bit dark, intentionally, but I would like to draw your attention to the red flames of rage and the smooth flow of serenity that engulf the two of them as they face off in their eternal balance.

Definitely Something

I can't say what this is for certain, but it's definitely something. Like a monster, or a demon or a dragon. I think I was doing cat ears when I started but I clearly didn't follow through with that.

I still have not figured out how to make the mer-chicken sexy and mysterious. On the other hand I have kicked the quality up by a mile. Still can't work out how this stupid video program works. I used it before though so I'm not sure why I'm having issues

Branches

This is some lines with branches, more like generic feather patterns really. Also a triangle. You see something else you're crazy.

Swiggly Chicken

This chicken is in an extremely excited mood so I set him up in a very swiggly way.  He's all ready to squack about and eat worms, or whatever it is he might feel like doing. His wings are especially scrappy so he's a new favorite. I also like the scrawled sort of feet.



And yeah, I've been a bit sporadic... mostly because Blogger is suddenly not allowing me to post images with my usual browser. I guess that's what I get for using a less popular browser. I like Opera, but I had to post this with Internet Explorer. Not really any excuse to argue. I might decide to mess around with a few other browsers.

Overwhelmed

Sometimes it seems that someone tried to do too much at once and in the end came out with something that sort of made sense. This piece, Overwhelmed, is a good example of that. There are several distinct elements. Starting from the most obvious it includes, the double outlines, the sprayed in coloration lined up with one of them, a distinct background(green), and the question mark that is shifted slightly to the side. It just feels like there's too much going on.

Also I have no idea when I made this... It looks like one of mine though so...

BLUE STRAiGHT, YEAH!

This one is BLUE STRAiGHT, YEAH! The name is more or less completely and totally arbitrary but that can't be helped. He's a very plain design. Rather he's a very plain chicken with a rather strange deisgn. Like someone cut the sides off. This kind of look shows up in Cartoons fairly often now that I actually get to thinking about it. Oh, and I figured out how to do the beside picture ones, but they insist on being centered for some reason. Wait. There we go. Exactly how I want it to work.

Some Days I Feel Crazy Go Nuts

Not very often mind you, but some Days I feel crazy go nuts. today was apparently one of those days since I drew this thing. I'm fairly certain its about being a manly man means being a crazy dude, but I can't say for sure. 

Burns

I don't know what he is exactly but I know that he has got some awesome sideburns. Unfortunately he's also bald.  But he's a chicken so that's to be expected. The real shame is his small comb. Anyways Yeah.

Chicken in Two Clicks

This is called "Chicken in Two Clicks" because I opened paint and made the outline in one click then Filled it with black with another click. I'll admit. Looking at it... All I can think of is a whale for some reason, but imagine it had a couple legs. It could be pretty solid.

Experimental Water Chicken

This is the lost chicken. It was among my very first ones. I'll admit it's not very... good. I like him though. He's freaking over the fact that he's a water chicken.

Alright. Time to make up for lost time. Let's see how many I can pump out in the next half hour if I just do it.

Chicken-Robo

Okay. I'm getting back into the swing of this. This is a Chicken Robot. The lack of coloring was a stylistic choice because when I tried coloring it it looked less than good. Of course I used light bulbs for the waddle to make it more generic robot-ish. That sort of thing is simply important you understand. It's also why I gave him box feet. Oh, and before you think it I know those are like bat wings.
