Chicken Heroics d20 Conversion Guide

Back in the early 2000s, when D&D was quite successful the whole RPG industry was getting on board the OGL and making d20 products. Even unrelated products had a chapter for playing the game with d20 instead of the system in the book. And, given these things are true I see no reason to think I'm better than them. I would have made this a chapter of my book, but it requires me to paste the license in there to use it so I didn't. Instead it is a separate free product. Check it out. It's good for a laugh if nothing else.

The Sky

The sky is the important part of this. I only added a chicken so I could put it on this website. Thank you for the time.

Donut

Is it a really big donut or a really small chicken, made of donut. I personally am pretty confident it's a donut and a pastry shaped like a chicken, at normal donut sizes. I was going to say it would be left as an exercise for the reader, but clearly I just told you.

Another Hero

I like super heroes. Putting a mask and a cape on is all it takes to make a fantastic hero appear. I gave him the nice white eyes like all the heroes tend to have.

Schedule

I occasionally think that I've fallen behind my posting schedule for this site, but the fact of the matter is that I haven't got a schedule on here to fall behind. Anyways this picture is a calender of the posts so far this month. It really is rather light on posts. I mean I usually manage 3 or so a week.

Red Blue Purple

In this piece the contrast between the red and blue chickens is dulled by the backdrop. The purple background is used to compliment the red and blue chickens. Interestingly the piece is signed, avoiding the empty space that would have taken the corner.

RPG Fight

A mirror match between two chickens. Your trust-worthy friend made a light attack, but the far chicken immediately counter attacked with a vast expenditure of magical power. Now, I know what you're thinking. What's with the bridge over the black abyss. And to that I say I certainly don't want to be NOT on the bridge.

Water Sprite

In an echo to the earlier blue periods this piece chose to take a thematic focus on water rather than simply work with the colors. This is brought into focus by the raindrop eye, and the flowing look of the outlines. The attempt at lighting effects was a bit lacking but develops a different look than usual. From the title, "Water Sprite" we can assume the artist intended the chicken to be made of water.

At Sea

The Captain of a small boat known as the Fowl Duck was the sole survivor of a major storm. As he crowed in the morning he saw the sun and looking around he found no companions. All the captain could do was stare out into the sea.
