Fire Frank
By

The powers of science know no ends. Stitching together half a flaming demon and half a perfectly natural zombie chicken the dark and twisted master of science has brought forth deadly new life upon the world. This was a Flaming Frankenstein's monster, or a Fire Frank for short.

Human Costume
By

"Trick or Treat" the chicken would have said if it had had lips but it was a bird so it was more of a squack. Of course it was understood as "Trick or Treat" and the lady at the door responded with her own squawk that could be interpreted as "What a nice human costume you have."

We start off the holiday with a fluttering ghost. It's Halloween so you know I'm gonna pull out the silliest of costumes. Let's have fun.

Italian Bread

This is the Italian Bread chicken to go with the pumpernickel one I put out 10 days ago. Is this going to be a series? Is it already? I dunno. Maybe.

Dark Back

We're back. And I wasn't thinking about that when I named this piece Dark Back. I just wanted to highlight the contrast between the purple background and the yellow buff chickens. Sorry for falling out for a bit guys.

THE THIRD VERSE OF THE EPIC OF BEOCHICKEN
By
Chicken Maker
at
Comblaf is a somewhat obtuse reference to Wiglaf, the man who follows Beowulf to face the dragon. I figure I should introduce him earlier in the story since I'm not certain this will make it that far. Though if it does that dragon will likely be a fox.
Beochicken Verse III
STRIDING THROUGH THE DARK OF NIGHT
EYES GLOWING YELLOW IN THE DEPTHS
BEOCHICKEN MOVED WITH NO CARE FOR HIS INJURIES
OFFERS OF REPRIEVE WERE REFUTED
BATTERED AND BROKEN THE HERO WOULD END IT
THE THREAT TO FOWL WOULD BE TORN ASUNDER
WHILE HIS MUSCLES ACHED HE DRUG ALONG A BLADE
THE KNIFE HAD BROUGHT DOWN MANY ON THE BUTCHER'S BLOCK
WITH IT HE WOULD BE EPT IN SPITE OF PAIN
HIS MEN HAD FLED LEAVING HIM ALONE
THOSE CHICKENS WERE NOT WORTH THEIR FEATHERS
SAVE ONE WHO STOOD BUT WAS SENT ASIDE
BUT FOR WEE CHICK COMBLAF THE SQUIRE
SON OF THE CHILD OF THE FATHER OF THE FATHER OF BEOCHICKEN
THE LONE FOWL STRODE FORTH TO THE NEST
THE THREAT GLISTENED AS IT CREPT OUT
SWUNG ROUND WITH GREAT HEFT
THE BLADE CAME ROUND WITH FORCE
THE CRASHING NOISE RANG OUT AND THUS SPOKE THE THREAT
FEATHERS AND TAR AND STEAL I BREAK
THE BROKE BLADE FELL TO THE GROUND FROM THE GRIP OF BEAK
EVEN WITH A WING TORN OFF THE THREAT STOOD GREAT
BE THEY DEVIL OR FOWL OR BEAST OR OTHER FOE
NONE WOULD STAND BEFORE THE HERO FOR LONG
CALLING UNTO THE HEAVENS BEOCHICKEN SPOKE THUS
KOO KA KOO KA KOO
THE SOUND RANG OUT AS BEOCHICKEN BOUNDED UP
HIS DAMAGED BEAK PULLED AT THE NECK OF THE THREAT
THE WRATH OF THE THREAT WAS ENDED
BEOCHICKEN LAY ON THE GROUND EXHAUSTED
THE BLOODLY DEAD DONE THE HERO COULD NOW REST
SAVE THE SOUNDS EMERGING FROM THE NEST

The Street

A chicken walking on the streets. The light of the streetlamps shined on the stone streets and brick buildings. Even the buildings had light coming out of their doors. It was hard to believe that night could be so bright.

Cool Rainbow

The background has a cascading rainbow effect. I use those pretty often to be honest. Anyways this one is all cool colors. That's why it's all blue and green and purple. A calming piece, so you should enjoy it.

THE SECOND VERSE OF THE EPIC OF BEOCHICKEN
By
Chicken Maker
at
It's been more than a couple months since the release of the Prelude and Verse I of Beochicken. As in, they were released in June. I think I forgot this was something I intended to do. So, let the grand epic continue. After all, I need to finish it so I can release a ridiculous audio version. I'll probably outsource that. I haven't got the best voice for this. Actually that thing will probably not exist, but it's my current vague plan for this project.
Beochicken Verse II
ONCE THEY BEGAN THE HUNT
FROM THAT POINT HENCE
THE CHAMPION WOULD BE BEASTLY
BEFORE HE WENT TO FIGHT
FIRST THE CHAMPION WOULD PARTY
HIS FOLLOWERS WERE AS BOISTEROUS AS HE
MANY A FAIR HEN WAS WOOED
BEOCHICKEN CLASHED WITH A FEW ROO'
THOUGH NONE OF IT BROUGHT BLOOD NOR FEATHER
FROM THEIR CELEBRATION THEY FELL
UNSTEADY AND JOYOUS
INSTANTLY FELLED TO REGRET
THE THREAT CUT THROUGH
THE WORLD WAS LIKE A TOY
DARKNESS SWIRLED IN HIS WAKE
BEAST AND FOWL FELL AS HE PASSED
THE LORDS GATHERING ENDED BLOODY
BEOCHICKEN STOOD FORTH FROM HIS MEN
THEY HAD BEEN TO HUNT IT DOWN
THAT WOULD NOT DO NOW
WINGS SPREAD AND NECK RUFFLED
SCRAMBLING TO THE TWISTED FOWL
THROWING ASIDE THE FEW LEFT LIVING
THE HERO AND THE THREAT STRUCK HEAVY
ONCE MORE THEY STRUCK AT ONE ANOTHER
THE DUEL WAS ROUGH AND THE THREAT STUCK HARD
THE CHAMPION OF CHICKENS BROKE AGAINST IT
BUT HE WOULD NOT FALL ALONE
THE HERO'S BEAK CRACKED
BUT THE THREAT LOST ITS WING
TORN ASUNDER BY THE CHAMPION'S MIGHT
THE THREAT WAS FORCED TO FLEE
NO MORE WAS THE TASK AS LOW
THIS WAS A JOB NO LONGER
NOW BEOCHICKEN WAS DRIVEN
ONCE IT WAS OVER AND DONE WITH
THE THREAT WOULD BE FILET

Do Art
By

Some days you wake up and you need to be creative. You need to do art. It relieves stress, helps you relax and gives you a moment to get your thoughts in order without worrying about any other nonsense, like what sort of hat that chicken ought to be wearing.

This is the SB Chicken. What does SB stand for? Super Bold? Saint Bernard? No, neither of those. It's Small Black Chicken, obviously.
