HD Background May 2016: Blind Martial Fowl & Kung Fu Chicken vs Ninjas

So, in March I said I was going to do one of these a month for a while, but I forgot to do one last month. Regardless of that here is the background for this month.

In this piece the illustrious Blind Martial Fowl teams up with Kung Fu Chicken to face off the oncoming waves of ninjas. Ninjas are still good, right? I know normally waves are mostly of zombies or such these days but ninjas seemed like a better match for Martial Artists.

Since I've been doing this forever pretty much everything reminds me of something, and since I've been doing this so long a lot of the time the older piece looks terrible to me. So, as my throw back here's Kung-Fu Comeback. I think I did a much better job of the pose this time.

Chicken Pecs

He has trained in an ancient bird based martial technique. It has twisted his muscles to render the utmost force. Users of that secret technique could be identified by the distinctive Chicken Pecs.

Fried Golden

This mighty fowl is a glorious golden-brown color, proving that without a doubt he has been perfectly cooked... Why don't you look like you believe me? Why else would he be that color?

Gritty Martial Artist

The battles had been going for so long now. His talons were stained with blood and it was hard to even think he had the right to stand in the light of the world anymore. In that moment he realized that something else was coming.

This is the return of what has been called my signature style, the Gritty Sharpness. I don't use it very often because, well, black and white feels kind of lazy.

Standing in the corner Red defeated anyone who came toward him. There had been dozens of them and as each was bested he scratched a mark in the wall with his talon. Some day a truly fierce foe would arrive and he would have the thrill of his life.

He looks like he's going to kill you, but really he's just hoping you don't get yourself hurt too badly. He pleads, "Please Don't Die!" as he attacks you.

Kung Fu Again

Yes, I decided that we needed another round of Kung Fu Chicken, The Chicken Who Lives In The Sky Of Swirls. (You know. That's the full title that ain't ever getting used.) So, Yeah. I remade the Kung Fu Chicken... Again, once more. He's way cool and anyways I needed him to be more established for if I need him later. No, I dunno what I would need him later.

Kung-Fu Comeback!

Well, I decided to let the Kung-Fu Chicken make a comeback because I wanna watch the Karate Kid(Starring  Will Smith's son and Jackie Chan) some time. Maybe when it shifts into the Dollar Theater in a month or so I'll catch it. Anyways... WHA-CHA! Kung-Fu Chicken is deep in his training. Balancing himself on a log sticking out of the sea. He ain't even near any docks or anything like that. He stands strong against the striking world of swirls he lives in.

I was challenged and I accept! I'm not entirely sure what I've been challenged to or what I'm doing, but this arbitrarily named Kung Fu guy is gonna take you down Allie!
