A Kid & His Monster Pal

I'm releasing a small game today that I call "A Kid and His Monster Pal" It's a simple little thing so there's not much to say about it. It's like those -mons shows. Digimon, pokemon, monster Rancher, etc. Some kids and their monster pals go on adventures.

Of course there's a chicken in it too. This picture isn't in color in the book but it is here so feel free to enjoy it.

Chicken Abstract Hot Duel

In this follow-up piece to the Chicken Abstract Cold Duel I chose to utilize sharper angles and more forceful transitions to create a distinct image while at the same time retaining the style of the previous piece. Where the colors went around the chicken in the previous piece in this one they at one point overlap.

Chicken Abstract Cold Duel

In this piece I chose to focus on colors rather than technical precision or forceful motions. By abandoning such pretenses I was able to develop a piece with a unique feel. Utilizing cool colors, from the green to violet part of the color spectrum, I show a lovely gentleness that stands apart from the dark background.

Dabbing

For this piece I chose to use a different technique than usual. Utilizing my touch screen I made this piece entirely using a series of pokes, giving it an un-smooth dabbed effect. I had considered using a motley of colors but in the end found this was pleasantly flat.

Dark Sun

This dark figure shines like the sun. How? Why? That is the true mystery. How can darkness shine so bright?

Priest Vigilante

A figure in black. At night a dangerous vigilante. Doing dark deeds for the safety of the city. But as morning crows reach his ears he has fallen into his other position, that of a preacher saving the souls of the city, save for his own.
