Vampire 4

I have drawn what is basically this same vampire 4 times since 2009. Every time I do it I think those old ones look awful but this one is great. Well, actually I'm fairly happy with Vampire 3. It would look different even if I did it in that style now though.

Anyways back to the important part... Why did I think a moon should be in the vampire picture?

Terry (Post #900)

Terry the Pterodactyl is by far my favorite random thing I did on this site before I was able to consistently art. As such I decided a remake of it would be an appropriate 900th post. Whoo! 900 posts! Anyways I've decided that Terry is definitely not an alien and is a baby pterodactyl who was raised by the the chickens who found him way back when. The two chickens are very proud of all of their chicks, including Terry.

Cyborg Chicken W REMAKER!

Cyborg Chicken W is one of my favorites of the chickens I made in the past. I always tend to think of it as my first good job, but really it wasn't very good. I'd never have posted it if I made it now. So, I decided to make it again. This is more or less the same as the old chicken, but this one is better. I believe I have brought it up to the level of it's modern peers.

Please do tell me how you think I did?

Also I'm redoing my Best of Chicken Maker list on the sidebar, so if you have any favorites gimme a heads up.

Blog Action Day 2010: Water

Once more this not serious blog is participating in Blog Action Day, because I enjoy the occasional pouring on of social commentary.

Even if they can't count these guys make a strong case about drinking water being good. So, I think we can all agree that drinking water is important. Really though the site leading this is kinda wrong a lot.

If one billion people out of out 6.8 Billion people on earth don't have clean water... that isn't one in eight. I don't know if that first number's accurate but it certainly isn't the same as their ratio.(That would be about one in seven)

According to them the United States was opposed to clean Water and sanitation being a human right, but according to the link they provided the motion passed 122 to 0. Maybe we were opposed but we weren't that opposed.

But that site being a mess isn't really the point. And do these people realize what would need to be done to actually provide clean water to everyone in the world? They just assume that because I have something to say in their program that I'm on their side. I am to an extent but that sort of thing is expensive and given the current economic situation of the world that sort of project isn't going to be easy to pull off.

When we're all prospering we can help the poor and downtrodden, but when we're slipping and might become the poor and downtrodden we need to buckle down.

And of course here is a polluted version of the Experimental Water Chicken. He was one of my first, so even though he's not looking so great I can always pull him back for a bit of screen time. The chicken hasn't changed much(though he is dirty and crying now) but his surroundings were horribly polluted.

Future Imperfect Once More

REMAKE!

A hard-line tough guy living in the endless wastelands of the future. Crossing a seared and desolate world, walking past those he'd stood with in the past. So many terrible deaths surrounded him and he had nothing left. He alone had survived his last battle and has been left with a terrible scar, both mental and physical.

Stormcrow the Green

Well, on occasion I feel the need to gauge my ability to draw, and usually the best way to do that is to try to redraw something I drew before, so I remade Stormcrow the Green, who I originally created last September. Now, I feel like this shows more of my change in sense, like coloring and making crescent moons, than it does with my ability to draw, but I feel like there's definitely been some improvement. Anyways I like the glowing green aura deal better than a couple crescent waves.

A wizened old wizard, Stormcrow the Green is a spell caster without many equals. (Being wise he knows better than to think he's without equal)

On the note of Improvement I think I need to rework that Best of Chicken Maker List. There's not a single thing from 2010 on there and I can see all the things I've improved on when I look at them and think things like "If I'd made that now I'd have redrawn that head before I posted it." So, do you have any favorite chickens on this site. If you do feel free to comment below(or anywhere on the site really) or send me an eMail(It'd be a nice break from the spam mail I usually get in there.)

Kung-Fu Comeback!

Well, I decided to let the Kung-Fu Chicken make a comeback because I wanna watch the Karate Kid(Starring  Will Smith's son and Jackie Chan) some time. Maybe when it shifts into the Dollar Theater in a month or so I'll catch it. Anyways... WHA-CHA! Kung-Fu Chicken is deep in his training. Balancing himself on a log sticking out of the sea. He ain't even near any docks or anything like that. He stands strong against the striking world of swirls he lives in.

Dot Chicken 2

I have created a second Dot Chicken, since I rather like the look and it took forever to draw that stupid series of dots. I think it looks pretty good. I should probably have added some legs. This one's got the wattle though and the last one didn't.

Comments

Well, I've decided to use this new comments link, replacing the old one. Anyways I went with hearts to demonstrate the show of love for my site. I initially started with the same saying smiley faces that I had in the old one but it didn't quite have the right style.  It didn't fit with the rest of the image, and the image had to match with the project link after all. The hearts looked much better if you ask me.

Also the font is Jasmine. It took me a good 15 minutes to find the font.

MS Paint in the Lines

What can I say. I said I wanted to do this one again in Paint for comparison purposes. Of course there's some differences but those are mostly just out of my trouble at drawing the same one twice. (I can if i really put my mind to it) And having made this one I think it worked better in Photoshop. The smoothness made the overflow look more natural.

Vampire 2

I couldn't help but wondering if I've improved at all since I started. To find out I decided to remake one of my older ones. Obviously the one I redid was Vampire. I have come to the conclusion that I have improved.
I used the same basic idea. The bright red eyes and the vampire cape. Used the same color as the original, though I probably wouldn't have opted for it these days. I almost didn't use it at all. This one's got more style and a the dracula hair. Also went with the cresent moon.
EDIT: Looking back I see that I actually said I should have slicked back the waddle in that post too :D
And do look back at the last post. I want that to get as much as I can.
